Obwohl Sy Oliver, der Arrangeur von Tommy Dorsey, Yes Indeed (A Jive Spiritual) Song bereits 1941 schrieb, nahm Sinatra ihn erst am 21. März 1961 mit einem Billy May-Arrangement auf. The song "Yes Indeed (A Jive Spiritual)" was originally composed in 1941 by Sy Oliver, who was an arranger for Tommy Dorsey. However, it wasn't until March 21, 1961, that Sinatra recorded the song, featuring a Billy May arrangement. This recording was included in the same year's Capitol album, "Come Swing With Me." Interestingly, Sinatra had already performed this song on his radio and television program, "The Frank Sinatra Show." He performed it on the radio with Sy Oliver on April 11, 1945, and on television with Jo Stafford on January 24, 1958.
