"Together" is a song composed by Ray Henderson and penned by Buddy DeSylva and Lew Brown in 1928.
Over time, the song has been interpreted by numerous artists, including Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman, Connie Francis, and Marvin Gaye. Connie Francis' rendition in 1961 climbed to #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped Billboard's Easy Listening charts. "Together" also achieved considerable success globally, reaching #2 in Australia, #6 in the UK, #7 in Ireland, and #6 in New Zealand, and it was a #1 hit in India.
Sinatra, after performing it on the radio multiple times in 1944, didn't record "Together" until January 16, 1962. The recording featured a waltz arrangement by Gordon Jenkins and was included in his Reprise album "All Alone," which was released the same year.
