Am 15.02.1960 Sinatra sang den Song als Teil eins Medleys im Fernsehen: The Frank Sinatra Timex Show: Here's to the Ladies.

Main Event Infos (English version)
The song "Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive" was penned by Arlen and Mercer for the 1944 film "Here Come the Waves", directed by Mark Sandrich. The film starred Bing Crosby and Betty Hutton, with Crosby and Sonny Tufts introducing the song. In 1946, "Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive" was nominated for an Oscar for Best Song.
The chorus of the song carries a positive message: "You're supposed to accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative, latch on to the affirmative, don't mess with Mister In-Between."
Johnny Mercer's rendition of the song, recorded with The Pied Pipers and the Paul Weston Orchestra, made its way to the Billboard charts in early 1945. It spent 13 weeks on the charts, peaking at number 2. A version by Bing Crosby and The Andrews Sisters enjoyed similar success.
Frank Sinatra performed the song on several occasions. He first sang it on the Frank Sinatra Show with the Ken Lane Singers on October 1, 1945. He performed it again on December 26, 1945, and January 23, 1946, with the Pied Pipers. On May 28, 1947, during an episode of Songs by Sinatra, Sinatra was joined by Johnny Mercer and the Pied Pipers for another performance of the song.
On February 15, 1960, Sinatra included the song in a medley during a television appearance on The Frank Sinatra Timex Show: Here's to the Ladies.
